Our inspiration.
Every morning growing up, our home was filled with the aroma of freshly made coffee. When I smell coffee being brewed, my olfactory senses immediately take me back to those days. I learned that when cooking with coffee, the grounds caramelize resulting in a savory crust that seals in the moisture of the meat. There could not be a better concept than smoking delicious cuts of meat while enjoying the aroma of what takes me back to my childhood. So, naturally, I set out to combine the two into a multipurpose rub using a medium coffee blend combined with 15 spices.
